My Story
Hi, I’m Cydney, the baker behind Whispering Woods Sourdough. I have always loved cooking and baking, and sourdough started as something new and exciting that I wanted to try in my kitchen. Over time I grew to really enjoy the process and the challenge of learning how to make great bread.
Outside of baking, I am a middle school teacher. This new endeavor has become a creative outlet for me and a way to share something homemade with my community. Every loaf and baked good is handcrafted with the goal of bringing something comforting, rustic, and memorable to your table.

How does Porch Pickup work?
When you place your order you will choose a pickup window on the selected day of your order. Please come around the time you choose. When you arrive, your order will be on the porch with your pickup name on the bag.
Where is pickup located?
The pickup location is Whispering Woods Subdivision behind the Kroger on Gibraltar Road.
What happens if I do not pickup my order during the pickup window?
If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to make your pickup window, please reply to the order confirmation email or my phone number provided in the order. I ask that you do everything you can to respect the pickup window time that you have chosen. If you do not pickup in the allotted time, and I do not hear from you after I text or call you, I will assume you have forfeited your order. No refunds for goods not picked up.
